Recently The General Office of the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region announced the 18 winners of the 2007 excellent new products in the [2008] 122th document. There are six on first, second, and third respectively. The YC135 and YC18 hydraulic excavators of the Yuchai Engineering Co., Ltd. won the 2nd prize, 3rd prize respectively.

YC135 and YC18 hydraulic excavators are the products wholly developed by Yuchai Engineering Co., Ltd. The YC135 hydraulic excavator was listed in the first batch of 2004 Technological Innovation Projects of Guangxi Committee for Economic Affairs; in 2006 it won the 2nd prize of Yulin Science and Technology Progress Award. YC18 was listed in the second batch of 2002 Technological Innovation Projects of Guangxi Committee for Economic Affairs; and in 2006 it won the 2nd prize of Yulin Science and Technology Progress Award and the 1st prize of Luchuan County Science and Technology Progress Award.

As it is appraised by the provincial technology experts and certified by the provincial high-tech department, the integrated technology of YC135 and YC18 hydraulic excavators achieved the most advanced level in China. The products are well accepted by the users.  Its market share is on the rise. It become one of the bright spots in the company's business development.
